How verification works

Creator

A photographer or videographer registers on TrailA.io and is linked to every asset they upload. Handles aren't invented after the fact: a creator's identity is attached at the point of upload, not assigned to a photo later.

Land authorisation

Before a creator can shoot on a landowner's property, the landowner has to approve a land access agreement: the record that they cleared this specific creator to capture on this specific land. This is what makes the chain three-sided instead of two: nothing gets uploaded without it.

Capture

The upload itself: timestamped, tied to the creator and the land it was shot on.

Rights

Every new upload starts in showcase status, visible but not licensable, until TrailA.io reviews it. Only once rights are cleared does an asset move to available and become something a buyer can actually licence.

You

The final stage is scoped to you specifically. When you licence an asset, that receipt (not someone else's, not a generic 'sold' badge) is what completes the chain on your view of it.
